Askalon hires Emma Lindgren as HR manager

Askalon's first HR manager is Emma Lindgren. She most recently comes from one of Askalon's many customers - Billerud.

Before Emma Lindgren started as Askalon's HR manager in October, she worked for seven years as an HR partner at Billerud Gruvön's Bruk.

- I worked widely with HR topics in the pulp, paper and cardboard manufacturing as well as in the safety and security department. I supported managers in various processes that had to do with employees, says Emma.

Emma has also worked at Karlstad's University.

- I mainly worked with education topics and it has been incredibly valuable to have that knowledge with me to drive matters within competence supply and employer branding.

What will your tasks be at Askalon?

- I will initially focus on the HR process, health and safety. A little further on, there will also be a focus on the management system and quality.

What is the first impression of Askalon?

- That it is a company with drive and a willingness to change, there is a lot of knowledge, potential and everyone is very good at their job. Everyone wants to do their best and that's important in terms of how health and safety issues are received, I think you want to do better too.
